Goodbyes

Dear Children of St. Mary’s,
I want to thank you for showing me what it looks like when God smiles and for showing me how big God’s love is. I can’t even begin to describe the wonder and delight that you have brought into my life. You have taught me that no one ever "fully knows the way home" and that the best answer is always “Jesus” no matter what the question is.  I am so very grateful that God brought you into my life and that you were willing to be Christ’s light to me and to everyone around you.  I will always take that light with me, wherever I go – whether at home or far away.

I pray that you keep Christ’s light with you, in your hearts, forever, and that you always remember the best answer, to any question, is “Jesus”.  I know that with those two things you will go far. You will always have a place in my heart and in my prayers.

with much peace, joy, and love,
miss cindy

Everything has a season, and we have to be able to recognize when something’s time is passed and be able to move into the next season. ~Henry Cloud The Art of Endings

It has been an honor and a joy that one of the seasons that God has given me was a time to share God’s love with all of you.  While my season of serving the children at St. Mary’s may be ending your season of serving (aka loving) may be beginning.  The joy you will feel will be insurmountable, the love you find will be indescribable, and the things you will learn and the stories that you will be able to tell will astound you.  Please pray.  I know that the right people to serve the children are in the pews of St. Mary’s and God is just waiting for you to say yes.  And when you’re ready to say yes – please tell Katie+.  She’ll take good care of you and your call to serve.  For more information about St. Mary's and their ministry to children and youth check out the website

Final Friday!

Today was the last day of  this week's VBS and we had a blast.  We learned how nothing can separate us from God's love and that we are God's light in the world.

We collected $1000.00 for water filters in the Dominican Republic which equals 6 1/2 water filters.  The children did an awesome job of helping others get clean water.

Our last time together will be Sunday at 10:30 AM for worship.  We will be singing VBS songs and using our Children's Liturgy service as we celebrate all we learned this week.  Wear your VBS shirt and come check out the cool art work that everyone did.  Don't miss Rev. Katie's God inspired painting!

Check out our last smilebox to find out who won - the boys or the girls!

See you Sunday!
